The Nooi Icy Sheet Set is made from 100% organic bamboo fabric. This material efficiently pulls heat and moisture away from the body, facilitating evaporation and a cooling effect similar to that of natural perspiration.

The fabric's breathability assists in minimising night sweats, and its antibacterial nature ensures it doesn't retain moisture or odours. Because it remains cooler than the ambient room temperature, it offers a consistently pleasant feel, enhancing comfort throughout the night and preventing discomfort from overheating.

The Icy Sheet Set is completely suitable for machine washing. Just wash in cold water, and hang dry for optimal care. If you can't hang dry, it's also perfectly fine to tumble dry on low heat.

Additionally, the fabric is naturally resistant to bacteria, which helps it remain fresh and odour-free for extended periods. It's also designed to resist pilling and becomes softer after every wash.

This antibacterial feature arises from our bamboo material's inherent bio-agent, "bamboo kun", which repels bacteria and prevents their growth on the fabric. As a result, the Icy Sheet Set is less likely to harbour odours and bacteria, staying cleaner and smelling fresher for longer periods.

Bamboo is known for its rapid growth and ability to regenerate once harvested, eliminating the need for replanting. These characteristics make it an exceptionally renewable resource that requires less land compared to traditional cotton crops.

Bamboo also has minimal needs for pesticides, fertilisers, and water, which helps reduce the environmental impact associated with farming. In contrast, crops like cotton consume vast amounts of water and require extensive use of pesticides and fertilisers, which can harm the environment. At Nooi, we use the method called "viscose" to convert bamboo into fabric. In this process, cellulose is extracted from bamboo, typically in the form of chips, which are then dissolved in a chemical solvent to create a solution. This solution is spun into fibers to make the fabric, and the chemical process involved is specifically referred to as the "viscose process."
