All Nooi blanket covers are designed for easy removal and are machine washable. Just unzip them, wash in cold water, and hang them to dry for optimal results! If you can't hang dry, no problem: you can also try tumble dry on low heat. Additionally, the fabric of our Icy cover is naturally anti-microbial, which helps to reduce odours and bacteria, meaning it doesn’t require washing as often as typical duvets.

For the inner weighted layer, it doesn't need to be cleaned as frequently as the cover, but it is still washable. We suggest hand washing and then hanging it to dry.

In this process, cellulose is extracted from bamboo, typically in the form of chips, which are then dissolved in a chemical solvent to create a solution. This solution is spun into fibers to make the fabric, and the chemical process involved is specifically referred to as the "viscose process."

Nooi's Icy Cooling Weighted Blanket features a cover made from 100% viscose bamboo fabric. This organic material efficiently pulls heat and moisture away from the body, facilitating evaporation and a cooling effect similar to that of natural perspiration.
